Thank You for Running for Literacy!

Having over 300 participants with bright, warm weather, the 2013 5k Walk / Run for Literacy provided an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone. Highlights include bread courtesy of Great Harvest Bread Company, cookies for the Kids Race participants courtesy of Colophon Cafe, raffle prizes from local merchants, and live music.

Special thanks to Village Books and Fairhaven Runners for coordinating the Run for Literacy.

We would like to thank all the participants in helping raise over $2000 for our programs to continue fight illiteracy in Whatcom County.

With gratitude, we thank all of our volunteers, board members, and staff who all dedicated their morning to support the Whatcom Literacy Council.
