Donate the Difference with the Food Co-op!

Throughout the month of September, the Community Food Co-op will offer shoppers the option of rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar at the register to “Donate the Difference” with the difference donated to the Whatcom Literacy Council. Every little bit counts, with the proceeds supporting our free literacy programs here in Whatcom County.

On Saturday, September 17th, both the Community Food Co-op stores on Cordata and N. Forest will be donating 2% of the day’s proceeds to the Whatcom Literacy Council.  Please consider doing your Co-op shopping on the 17th! Whatcom Literacy Council volunteers will be at both stores from 1-4 pm to answer questions and recruit volunteers.
