January Volunteer Information Session

Wednesday, January 16, at 5pm at the Bellingham Public Library Lecture Room.

All are welcome! Learn more about the Literacy Council, the far reaching impact of illiteracy and about becoming a volunteer literacy tutor.

WLC provides free, confidential, one-to-one tutoring for adults in order to help them improve their reading/writing skills or learn English. Training is provided and tutoring takes place within your own community at hours convenient for your schedule. No previous teaching or foreign language skills are needed. Tutors must be at least 18 years old and have graduated from high school.

There is no obligation to volunteer, so please bring a friend!
